Little Guy Football

Matt and I don't have children on our radar quite yet (unless the Lord has other plans for us of course), but we came upon something this week that I know Matt at least, can't help but be excited about.

Matt had offered to babysit one of his co-worker's precious little girls, Kaci Jean. This, of course, required my assistance ;) so we both spent Wednesday evening in Edmonds playing Mom & Dad. We took Kaci on a walk around the neighborhood in her awesome BOB stroller. For those of you parents that don't have a BOB, please do yourself a favor and buy one! They are pretty much amazing. While we were on our walk, we stumbled across Little Guy Football Practice.

Can you say hilarious? These kids couldn't have been older than 5 and/or any larger than 4.5ft. tall. The coach was yelling things like "you're going to lose the game and then have to run laps!" and "get your head in the game!" as the majority of the team was pushing, chasing each other, and sitting down on the field because they were tired. Matt then started telling me stories about how monumental his little guy experiences were for him which led us to be excited about the day where we can watch our own kids practice! Or better yet, coach them. Just another thing to love about this time of year!
